Section 3(3)(1). This is a drafting point which

could be met by such words as "which have been or

may hereafter be established."

Section 3(4). Mr. Roberts Wray is clearly right in suspecting this subsection, and I discussed it

today with Mr. Taylor the Treasurer of the Colony. He agrees that the arrangement with the War Office

No.1 as modified by No. 16 · is that the

annual deduction in respect of capital expenditure

incurred from 1915 to 1932 shall be at the rate

of 5 per cent for 1933 and subsequent years,

whereas in respect of capital expenditure incurred

since 1932 the standard rate of 4 per cent shall

apply.

I think that we had better get a

redraft from the Colony, and I submit a draft

telegram herewith.
